Duplex OM5 Multimode LC/UPC to LC/UPC 50/125 µm 2.0 mm LSZH Fiber Patch Cable 0.5m

This duplex OM5 multimode fiber patch cable provides an LC/UPC-to-LC/UPC connection for data centres, enterprise networks and telecom rooms. Its two 50/125 µm fibers carry the transmit and receive signals in A-to-B polarity. The factory-terminated connectors have a maximum insertion loss of 0.30 dB.

What distinguishes OM5 from a standard OM4 patch cable is its wider operating wavelength range. OM5 is optimized for 850-953 nm and can support compatible shortwave wavelength-division multiplexing (SWDM) systems over a duplex fiber pair. At 850 nm, OM5 retains OM4-level performance, allowing this patch cable to be used in compatible OM4 infrastructure.

The lime-green 2.0 mm LSZH jacket makes OM5 connections easy to identify. Its halogen-free construction produces limited smoke in the event of fire and is intended for professional indoor installations. Available lengths from 0.5 to 25 metres cover connections between patch panels, switches, servers and other LC/UPC multimode equipment.
