This 25G SFP28 passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Twinax cable is designed for use in 25GBASE Ethernet networks. The cable complies with the IEEE P802.3by Ethernet standard and is SFP28 MSA compatible.
Each SFP28 connector features a built in EEPROM that provides product information to the host system, making installation and management simple. Thanks to the passive design, the cable has low power consumption, is cost efficient and is suitable for short distance connections within a rack or between adjacent racks in data centers.
