This MDC/UPC to LC/UPC duplex OS2 singlemode uniboot fiber patch cable connects high-density MDC equipment to conventional duplex LC infrastructure. Two Corning G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fibers share one compact 2.0 mm cable, making the assembly suitable for data centres, telecom rooms and enterprise networks where space-efficient routing is important.

The MDC Very Small Form Factor connector can provide three times the fiber density of duplex LC in compatible panels. DirectConec push-pull operation keeps the connector accessible in densely populated ports. Its polarity can also be reversed in the field without tools and without exposing or twisting the fibers, simplifying installation and later reconfiguration.

The MDC/UPC side is intended for compatible high-density breakout architectures, while the LC/UPC side connects to established duplex LC equipment. The specified maximum insertion loss is 0.3 dB and the minimum return loss is 55 dB. A yellow LSZH jacket supports professional indoor installations, and multiple cable lengths are available.
