About Juniper SRX Series Firewalls

The Juniper SRX series is a family of next generation firewalls that integrate routing, switching, and security in a single Junos OS device. They support stateful firewall, intrusion prevention, application visibility and control, URL filtering, and SSL inspection. Larger models add chassis cluster high availability so two units can fail over without dropping sessions.

Models in Stock

SRX300, SRX320, SRX340, SRX345: branch and small office firewalls with 8 to 16 ports, 1G uplinks, and entry level throughput up to several Gbps with full security services enabled.

SRX550, SRX1500: mid sized branch and campus firewalls with 10G uplinks, expanded session capacity, and support for full IDP and application security at production scale.

SRX4100: data center edge and enterprise core firewall with multi 10G interfaces and high session counts for large headquarters or service provider deployments.

How to Choose the Right SRX

Sizing an SRX comes down to three numbers: required throughput in Gbps with security services enabled, concurrent session count, and new connections per second under peak load. Branch offices typically run SRX300 or SRX340, regional offices run SRX1500, and headquarters or data center edges run SRX4100. For high availability deployments always order matched pairs with identical licensing and Junos versions to enable chassis cluster.

Refurbished and Tested

Every SRX unit is wiped to factory defaults, tested against a standard checklist, and shipped with 12 month warranty. License transfer support is available for SRX owners moving from end of life contracts. Orders before 16:00 CET ship the same day from our Dutch warehouse.
