The MTP-12® jumper cable provides a simple and reliable way to prepare data centers for higher data speeds, especially when used in combination with trunk cables. It is a high quality factory terminated alternative to time consuming field termination and is ideal for high density fiber optic patching, saving space while greatly simplifying cable management.
The jumper is often used for repairs or modifications within racks and supports both 12 fiber and MTP-8® systems. This makes it perfectly suited for parallel multimode optical transceivers such as 40G QSFP+ SR4/CSR4 and 100G QSFP28 SR4, as well as other applications where a compact and efficient connection is required.
