The HPE Aruba JZ356A is the Aruba AP-555, an ultra-high-performance Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) campus access point designed for the most demanding high-density environments. This flagship model features tri-radio capabilities, including dual 5 GHz radios and a single 2.4 GHz radio. When operating in dual-5 GHz mode, it delivers an impressive aggregate peak data rate of 5.37 Gbps, making it the ideal choice for large venues, high-capacity lecture halls, and busy transport hubs.
The AP-555 is equipped with 8x8 MU-MIMO in the 5 GHz band, providing superior capacity and multi-user performance compared to standard access points. Like other 500-series models, it includes integrated Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radios for IoT connectivity and location-based services. It also features dual Ethernet ports for high availability and link aggregation, ensuring that the wired backhaul can keep pace with the massive wireless throughput.
