This MTP®-24 UPC Female to MTP®-24 UPC Female fiber optic trunk cable with 24 fibers is designed for high-density fiber connections in data centers, telecommunications infrastructures and enterprise networks. Thanks to the factory terminated MTP® connectors, the cable is ready for immediate use and ideal for plug and play installations, significantly reducing installation time and simplifying high-density fiber deployments.
The OM5 50/125 µm wideband multimode fiber is designed for high-speed network applications and optimized for Short Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM) across multiple wavelengths in the 850–953 nm range. Combined with the compact 24-fiber MTP® interface, the cable provides very high fiber density and transmission capacity for modern 40G, 100G and 400G network architectures, depending on the optical transceivers and network configuration used.
The cable features Type B polarity, in which the fiber positions are reversed from one connector to the other. This polarity method is commonly used in parallel optical and structured cabling applications and helps provide the required transmit-to-receive alignment throughout the fiber link.
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket makes the cable suitable for data centers and other indoor environments where fire safety and low smoke emissions are important. The standardized lime green jacket allows OM5 cabling to be easily identified during installation, maintenance and network expansion. With its high-density MTP®-24 design, wideband OM5 fiber and Type B polarity, this cable provides a reliable and scalable solution for modern high-bandwidth fiber infrastructures.
