Dieses passive 25G SFP28 Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Twinax-Kabel ist für den Einsatz in 25GBASE-Ethernet-Netzwerken konzipiert. Das Kabel entspricht dem IEEE P802.3by Ethernet-Standard und ist SFP28 MSA-kompatibel.
Jeder SFP28-Stecker verfügt über einen integrierten EEPROM, der dem Hostsystem Produktinformationen zur Verfügung stellt und so die Installation und Verwaltung vereinfacht. Dank des passiven Designs hat das Kabel einen geringen Stromverbrauch, ist kostengünstig und eignet sich für Kurzstreckenverbindungen innerhalb eines Racks oder zwischen benachbarten Racks in Rechenzentren.
