The Cisco SFP-10G-LRM transceiver supports 10GBASE-LRM data rates over both legacy multi mode fiber (MMF) and standard single mode fiber (SMF) using duplex LC connectors. It provides a reach of up to 220 m on FDDI-grade MMF and up to 300 m on SMF. The module complies with IEEE 802.3aq standards and features Electronic Dispersion Compensation (EDC) to ensure reliable performance over older fiber infrastructure.
Thanks to the hot swappable design and versatility, this transceiver is an ideal solution for upgrading existing campus networks and data centers without the need for extensive re-cabling. It provides real-time monitoring of operating parameters via the digital diagnostics interface.
