Deze 25G SFP28 passieve Direct Attach Copper (DAC) Twinax-kabel is ontworpen voor gebruik in 25GBASE Ethernet-netwerken. De kabel voldoet aan de IEEE P802.3by Ethernet-standaard en is SFP28 MSA-compatibel.
Elke SFP28-connector is voorzien van een ingebouwde EEPROM die productinformatie aan het hostsysteem levert, wat installatie en beheer vereenvoudigt. Dankzij het passieve ontwerp heeft de kabel een laag stroomverbruik, is deze kostenefficiënt en geschikt voor korteafstandsverbindingen binnen een rack of tussen aangrenzende racks in datacenters.
